Of course, a complete restoration is always best if you want to use such an old device for many years to come. It is time-consuming and costly, but worth it. 😉

]]> Von: stereomaster https://www.studerundrevox.de/studer/mischpulte/analoge-mischpulte/studer-169-269/comment-page-1/#comment-9685 Fri, 19 Apr 2024 10:47:03 +0000 https://www.studerundrevox.de/?p=1323#comment-9685 If your mixer worked in a studio, like mine (169 ), you will be shocked to see what it is under the connectors on the main board(s), i desoldered all the connectors , i cleaned them in the ultrasound bath and i cleaned also the horrible oxidation of old coffee, water, cola (or beer?) for maybe 30 years under the connectors and on the metal back cover. I strongly advice this to anyone want to restore a 169/269, even it is a huge work….
